Top 10 Social Media Posts of 2019
2019 has been very trying for me personally, but very good for business. Personally, I’m glad to see it go, but if my business could speak it would say thank you, 2019!
This year, I had the pleasure of sharing a lot of great social media how to’s with you — and since this will be the last email you receive from me this year, I wanted to share with you my top 10 social media posts according to Google Analytics.

Disclosure: Some companies that I mention are my marketing and training partners. I am an affiliate of others. I get commissions for purchases made through affiliate links on this page. I only recommend products and services from companies I trust, tools I’ve used, and those that I highly recommend and feel may be of value to you and beneficial to your marketing efforts.

One of the most overlooked features of the Facebook Business Page is the ability to schedule posts.
Facebook’s scheduling feature will save you time, by allowing you to create back-to-back posts and schedule them to go out on specific dates and times in the future.

The idea to have a social media class came about because people had been asking me how to use social media — as I had been setting up social media accounts for others since 2009. Of course, once I had the idea, I had to set up a LinkedIn account though it went against every fiber of my being. Ugh!

Last month, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Marc Guberti on his Profitable Public Speaking Podcast.
Marc Guberti is a blogger that I’ve been following since he was 16. That’s right, Marc started blogging when he was just 11 years old, and is now an influencer, podcaster, radio host, and best selling author. He is now 21 years old, and still hustling. I am so proud of him!

Some features on Instagram were not working yesterday, so I created a quick video to show you how to download your Instagram data and content. This will protect you from losing it should Instagram decide to close for good.
I am working to write a complete post with step-by-step directions, but for now please allow the video below to guide you through the process.

This post was inspired by Jenny Stradling’s tweet to Starbucks and so many others that are reminding companies to remove their Google+ icons and links from their websites.
Dear @Starbucks pssstt… tell your webmaster to remove the link to Google+. It’s a 404 now. You’re welcome. https://t.co/9muDAGRGys pic.twitter.com/C6IqWs3yNa
