Many of my clients and class participants have asked me what I think is the best online calendar to use to book appointments with their clients.

I recommend vCita’s online calendar for service-based businesses as I’ve tried several online scheduling tools, but have found vCita to be exactly what my business needs. It’s made it much easier for me to manage my calendar, and much easier for clients to reach me — especially this time of year when I am extremely busy.

I’ve been using vCita since 2014, and I tell you, when I realized how much vCita was benefiting my business, I was hooked. I became a partner and began helping my clients to start taking appointments from their clients as well.

If you are using the Google My Business App, hopefully, you are also receiving reviews. Today I’m going to show you how to respond to those reviews when you receive them.

First, let me say a few things about receiving reviews on Google My Business.

As a small business owner, one of the things that you always want to make sure that you do is respond to those reviews.
In responding to those reviews, whether they are positive or negative, you always want to be polite.
Never, ever have an argument with someone on the Google review platform, (and even off of the review platform).

In a previous post, I showed you how to schedule posts from your Facebook Business Page, but I am aware that some of you like the client whose account I will use in this demonstration have to schedule posts via Facebook’s new Publishing Tool – as the scheduling option is no longer available for her when we create posts on her Facebook Business Page ‘Home’ tab.

One brainstorming session I did, was with a woman who had to close her store last week. She did not choose to close her shop, but her store and all of the stores around her were told they had to close due to COVID-19.

As a social media trainer and consultant, I have been so blessed to be able to guide some of the most amazing people in starting their businesses — and then marketing their businesses, and I LOVE every bit of it!

Something that I see repeatedly though, are people who keep coming to my classes (some for the last almost ten years). Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate repeat attendees, but the people I am speaking of are those that come back only with a different business or business idea each time.

I know many of you may be really concerned about the Coronavirus outbreak. A few people have even changed their in-person training appointments with me to online training because they don’t want to leave their house unless they have to.

The news can be extremely alarming, and because many of you work from home (and often have to go out to meet clients), I have added Zoom Meetings training to my list of online and in-person workshops. This means that you can learn how to use Zoom, so you can meet your clients online.
