Yesterday, I showed you how to change your Facebook password on an Android phone. Today, what I want to do (because I know some people still love their PC or their desktop computers), I wanted to show those people how to change their Facebook password on a PC or desktop.

Transcript of How To Change Facebook Password (PC / Desktop Computer):

By default, when you log in to Facebook, it always brings you to your news feed. So let’s get started changing that password.

  • Step 1. Click on the dropdown arrow in the upper right-hand corner.

  • Step 2. Click on settings and privacy.

  • Step 3. Click on settings.

  • Step 4. Click on security and login.

  • Step 5. Scroll down to the login section on the security and login page.

  • Step 6. To the right of change password, click on the edit button.

  • Step 7. Enter your current password.

  • Step 8. Type in your new password.

  • Step 9. Re-type your new password.

  • Step 10. Click on save changes.

Once you’ve clicked on save changes, you may be brought to a dialog box that says password changed. If you think someone has your old password, it’s a good idea to log out of all of your devices including your phones and your computers, and check for recent changes to your account. Now you have two options. The first option is review other devices, and it says that Facebook will check where you’re currently logged in. Then, what it will do is it will help you log out of all of your devices or you then click stay logged in, which is what I’m going to select. Once you’ve clicked, stay logged in. Go ahead and click continue. And there you have it. You should now have a new Facebook password!
