In 2018, I created a video, “How Do I Remove My Facebook Page from Facebook Business Manager? [Step-by-Step Facebook Tutorial],” that has gotten over 10,290 views on YouTube and is still being viewed today. Since Facebook has made so many changes to Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Business Suite, I created an updated version of this popular video.

Following are the steps to removing your Facebook Business Page from both the Facebook Business Manager and the Facebook Business Suite. If you prefer watching the video, click on the play > button below otherwise scroll past the video to read the text.

STEPS TO REMOVING YOUR FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE FROM FACEBOOK BUSINESS MANAGER:

  • Step 1: The first thing you want to do is open up your browser and type business.facebook.com/settings. The reason why you want to add settings onto the end of that URL is that if you just type business.facebook.com, it throws you into the new Facebook Business Suite, which in my opinion is even more confusing than the Facebook Business Manager. So go ahead and add settings to the end of that URL and hit enter. This should bring you into the Business Manager.

  • Step 2: Click on the page that you want to remove from the Business Manager. This will bring you to the Business Settings page.

  • Step 3: Over in the left-hand, navigation, click on Pages.

  • Step 4: If you’ve selected the wrong page or you want to do multiple or different pages, just look for the dropdown directly under Business Settings. Click on the drop-down arrow, and it will list out all the pages that you have in Business Manager.

  • Step 5: Then, click on Pages on the left, and make sure that the page that you want to remove is highlighted in the center column.

  • Step 6: Then, you’ll see over on the right-hand side, a button that says Remove. Click on the Remove button. You should now see a dialogue box that says, “Remove Page. Are you sure you want to remove this page? If you remove it, you won’t have access to it in Business Manager.” So, go ahead and click Remove.  Just know, when you click Remove, this does not remove the page from Facebook itself. It will only remove it from the Facebook Business Manager.

  • Step 7: It’ll give you a message, “This page does not have any pages yet.” That just means that it’s no longer in the Business Manager.

  • Step 8: Go back to Facebook, and you will see it in the list of Facebook pages. Click on Pages just to confirm that the page itself is still there. And when you scroll down there it should be.

This concludes, “How to Remove Your Facebook Business Page from Facebook Business Manager.”

STEPS TO REMOVING YOUR FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE FROM FACEBOOK BUSINESS SUITE:

  • Step 1: In my experience, each of my clients’ pages looks different, so, I’m going to simplify this process by showing you how to get to Facebook Business Suite by telling you to first type business.facebook.com in your browser address bar, and hit enter on your keyboard. This will bring you to the new Facebook Business Suite.

  • Step 2: Click on Settings.

  • Step 3: People will be highlighted in the center column. You should see your name or the name of the owner of the account.

  • Step 4: The next thing you’ll want to do is to click on Business Assets. This will bring you to the all assets page.

  • Step 5: Go ahead and click on Pages on the top navigation.

  • Step 6: When you see the page that you want to remove, go ahead and click on it.

  • Step 7: Over to the right of the page name, you’ll notice three dots. Go ahead and click on the three dots, and you’ll see, Remove from Business Account.

  • Step 8: Click Remove from Business Account.

  • Step 9: If your Business Page is connected to Instagram, it will bring you to a dialogue box that says, “You cannot remove this page because it’s connected to an Instagram account.” What you’ll have to do is click on or go to Page Settings first and disconnect that Instagram account.

  • Step 10: When you’re on the Page Settings page, you’ll want to scroll down on the left-hand navigation and click on Instagram. On the Instagram page, scroll down. When you see Disconnect Instagram, go ahead and click on the Disconnect button. After you’ve clicked on the Disconnect button, you will see a dialogue box that says, “Disconnect Instagram Account. You can reconnect the account at any time.” Go ahead and click Disconnect, and this will then bring you to a Connect to Instagram Account page. NOTE: You may want to come back here later to reconnect your Instagram account.

  • Step 11: Back on the Facebook Business Suite, go ahead and click X on the dialogue box.

  • Step 12: Then refresh your page. You should now be back on the Business Assets page. Once again, go ahead and click on Pages.

  • Step 13: Click on the name of the business page you want to disconnect.

  • Step 14: Click on the three dots.

  • Step 15: Click Remove from Business Account. Now you should see a dialogue box that says, “Remove from Page. If you remove the page, it will no longer be part of the business account. People who currently manage the page will still have access upon removal.” Do not fear. The page will not be deleted from Facebook, but it will be over on the regular pages section. Go ahead and click on Remove Page.

  • Step 16: Go back to Facebook. To simplify this process, just type facebook.com in your address bar, and click enter.  Your page will still be there under Pages.

This concludes, “How to Remove Your Facebook Business Page from Facebook Business Suite.”
